On the evening of January 21, explosions were heard in Kyiv. According to preliminary information, Air Defence Systems are operating in the capital.

The Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported it on Telegram.

What is known about the explosions in Kyiv

According to Tkachenko, enemy UAVs were spotted in the airspace on the outskirts of Kyiv. A few minutes later, residents of the capital heard explosions — the Air Defence Systems were operating.

So far, residents of several regions have been warned of the danger. The Air Raid Alert Map looks like this:

As a reminder, powerful explosions were heard in Kherson on the evening of January 21. However, no Air Raid Alert was declared in the region at the time.

On the night of January 21, the Defence Forces of Ukraine hit the Russian oil depot. It happened in Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, and an aircraft plant in Smolensk region was also hit.
