Drone attack tactics explained — consequences of the night in official report

Russian troops attacked Kyiv once again. Explosions were heard in several regions. The Kyiv City Military Administration described the tactics of the Russian drone attack, and the consequences.

What tactics are used by Russia in drone attacks on Kyiv?

As noted by the Kyiv City Military Administration, Russia has been consistently attacking Kyiv at night for months, using Shahed attack drones. The drones approach Kyiv from different directions and altitudes, attacking in varying group sizes.

Last night, the air raid alarm in Kyiv lasted for more than five hours.

"The enemy launched the first groups of drones before midnight, but throughout the night, new UAVs were continuously added. However, none of the Russian drones reached their target," the report states.

Consequences of the drone attack in Kyiv on October 3

In Kyiv, a drone crash was reported in the Desnianskyi district. There was no information about any injuries or destructive consequences. 

As a reminder, Kyiv is under enemy attack almost every day. On October 1, the enemy used attack drones. And on October 2, Russian troops again launched Shaheds in the region.
