On January 17, Russians committed another war crime by attacking civilian infrastructure in the Kyiv region with drones. As a result of the attack, buildings burned down and there is a victim.

This is reported by a Novyny.LIVE correspondent from the scene.

Consequences of a UAV attack

A cafe and a shop burned down as a result of a Russian drone attack in Kyiv region. The owner of the affected establishment, Tetiana Borysivna, said that the drone fragments hit the building's window.

"We had already gone to bed when we heard a humming noise, followed by an explosion. Then I rushed to the window and saw that our store and café were already on fire. The flames spread very quickly. Neighbors came to help, and many people were there. We called the firefighters. Several fire brigades arrived, including ones from Bucha, Vorzel, and Dmytrivka. Everyone pitched in to help us," the woman says.

In addition, a 12-year-old boy, Andrii, was injured in the Russian attack. He was inside and tried to hide, but was wounded in the legs.

His condition is now satisfactory, he is under medical supervision and is preparing for surgery.

As a reminder, in the Bucha district of Kyiv region, works are in progress to eliminate the consequences of the strike by the Russian occupiers.

It should be noted that the Russians launched drones on the night of January 17. Explosions were heard.
