UAV attack on Kyiv was repelled for nearly five hours — reports on the results

On the night of Friday, October 18, the occupiers carried out one of the most massive drone attacks in Ukraine. Kyiv was also threatened by enemy drones.

Kyiv attacked by drones

The Kyiv City State Administration noted that the military repelled the UAV attack for nearly five hours.

"Thanks to the coordinated work of the Defense Forces, all the UAVs moving towards the capital were neutralized. Combat operations in the airspace of Kyiv on its outskirts lasted more than 4.5 hours," the statement said.

It is emphasized that there were no casualties or damage in the capital.

"We emphasize once again - follow the safety rules and use shelters," the Kyiv City State Administration added.

As a reminder, the explosions in the Kyiv region occurred on the night of October 18. An air raid alert was sounded in the region.

And on October 17, the Russians also attacked Kyiv with Shahed attack drones. All the enemy drones were detected and shot down, and a multi-apartment building was damaged by falling debris in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv.
