German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday, January 14. He intends to discuss the situation at the front in Ukraine.

Pistorius arrived in Kyiv
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius visited Kyiv to hold talks with the Ukrainian government. The main topic of the meetings was the strengthening of the Ukrainian defense industry. Four other European partners have joined this initiative, and together with Germany, they are committed to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
"It is important for me to use this trip to show that we continue to actively support Ukraine. This is a signal that Germany, as the largest NATO country in Europe, supports Ukraine," quoted him as saying.
During the talks, the parties are expected to discuss the details of cooperation, including the supply of defense equipment, support for technological development and joint projects in the military sphere.
As a reminder, Boris Pistorius recently announced the transfer of the first of the promised RCH 155 howitzers to Ukraine.
Pistorius also denied rumors that Olaf Scholz had allegedly blocked German aid to Ukraine.
