On January 18, Russians fired ballistic missiles at Kyiv and damaged the entrance to the Lukianivska metro station. Currently, repair work is underway at the site.

How Kyiv is recovering from the strike

The shelling of the capital damaged the metro building, neighboring houses, and the water supply system. As a result, the surrounding area was flooded. Utilities are currently repairing the road at the site of the strike. In addition, they have already replaced nine meters of water pipeline and managed to maintain the water supply. The first McDonald’s in Ukraine was also struck.

As a reminder, the Lukianivska metro station in Kyiv has resumed work. One of the entrances was temporarily closed due to enemy shelling.

The shelling of the capital has damaged the McDonald’s restaurant located near Lukianivska metro station in Kyiv for the fourth time. Representatives of the popular chain promised to restore the restaurant.
