Russia attacked Ukraine again on the evening of December 12. Debris of drones fell in the center of Kyiv.

This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klychko.

"Debris of an enemy UAV fell in the center of the capital — in the Pechersk district," Klychko wrote.

He added that another UAV was approaching from the left bank towards the central part of the city.

The KCMA clarified that according to preliminary information, the debris fell in an open area. There were no fires or victims as a result of the incident.

The department also reminded that the air alert in the capital due to the attack by enemy drones is ongoing as of 9.40 p.m., so Kyiv residents need to stay in shelters.
