Drone attack on Kyiv — damage recorded in two districts

On Thursday, January 16, Russians attacked Kyiv with drones, and air defense forces managed to shoot down the enemy targets. Debris fell in two districts of the capital.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) Tymur Tkachenko via Telegram.

Consequences of the strike on Kyiv

According to Tkachenko, a car was damaged as a result of the drone's debris falling in Kyiv's Solomyanskyi district.

"Fortunately, there were no injuries," he said in a statement.

The head of the KCMA added that the drone's wreckage was also recorded in the Dniprovskyi district.

"There is a slight damage to the facade, no casualties," Tkachenko summarized.

As a reminder, explosions occurred in Kyiv on January 16 at about 12:15 p.m. In the capital, air defense forces repelled a drone attack.

And the day before, during the air raid, Kyiv residents went into hiding because of the threat of a missile attack on the capital.
