The soldier with the call sign "Arn" also attended the event in Kyiv and thanked everyone who participates in such events.
The soldier emphasized that this is very important for the families of captured defenders, as it is the way they feel psychological support.
"They need psychological support, and I thank you for being here. They see that they are not alone standing here, but with many people — they feel it," he told the boy at the rally.
This Sunday, participants gathered near the Arsenalna metro station in Kyiv in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
A week ago, FreeAzov protesters gathered near the Naberezhne highway in the capital.
